♡ 61 ( +1 | -1 ) chessbase problemHi, I'm using chessbase 9 and I want to create a french-only database out of a quite large overall dbase. So I set up a position with e4 e6 d4 d5 and hit the reference tab. The search brings up a huge amount of games - somewhat in the 50-100000. I copy those to the clipboard, create a new dbase and then copy them from the clipboard to the new dbase.
And that takes ages!!! Why?
If I just copy 100000games from one dbase to another, it's normaly done in a minute or so - why does it take so long when copying from the clipboard.

The % complete and time remaining went nuts as the number of games copied passed 65K. Using the clipboard or having indexes already created greatly slows this type of operation.
♡ 26 ( +1 | -1 ) ok, then I did it right - still takes so long... I heard rumors of hd-speed of laptops being pretty slow but I wouldn't have guessed that it can take this kind of proportions. It will take me literally hours to get this done!!
